On the Hill

With the high altitude, sometimes it's hard to catch your breath. This is the Tibetan grassland. If you climb up the hill you will see the wonderful surroundings. Cattle, yak, sheep, horse and birds  flying in the blue sky. On the upper right corner is the Gansu Normal University for Nationalities. This school is an inter-cultural school. Students from the Qinghai - Tibetan Plateau meet here to study. On the foot of the hill are the restaurants where you can relax and order your food while listening to authentic Tibetan music. Yak meat is the best delicacy you may want to try. You can also enjoy the freshly made yoghurt. The green scenery you see here last only for two months. June and July are the best time to visit this place.
